Lawsuit alleges woman's death caused by diagnosis-related negligence

No patient should have to be subjected to diagnosis-related negligence. Such negligence can be extremely harmful to patients. Sadly, in some instances, such negligence can even lead to a patient's death. Thus, it is very important for medical professionals to not commit diagnosis-related negligence when providing care to patients.

Recently, a wrongful death case has arisen in Texas involving allegations of diagnosis-related negligence.

The case involves a woman who received medical care after having undergone a surgery. The woman's family claims that negligence occurred during the course of this medical care. Specifically, the woman's family alleges that certain medical professionals negligently failed to diagnose an infection the woman suffered from. According to the woman's family, this negligence resulted in the woman's death. Reportedly, the woman's death occurred on March 11, 2010.

According to the Ultimate Bellaire article which reported this story, a wrongful death lawsuit has been brought in a court in Texas by the woman's family against the above-mentioned medical professionals in connection to these allegations. It has been reported that the woman's family is asking for damages in this lawsuit. It will be interesting to what happens in this case as it progresses.

No family should have to suffer the loss of a loved one because a medical professional committed diagnosis-related negligence. Thus, one hopes that medical professionals are held accountable when they commit negligence like that alleged in the above-mentioned wrongful death case. One also hopes that all medical professionals make sure to act properly when it comes to diagnosing patients.
