Woman brings lawsuit alleging surgical negligence

It is very important for medical professionals and hospitals to act properly when it comes to the surgical care of patients. When medical professionals or hospitals act negligently when providing surgical care to patients, it can result in patients suffering great harm. No patient should have to suffer harm because a medical professional or hospital failed to act properly.

A case has recently arisen involving allegations of surgical negligence. The case is from Texas. The case involves a woman who underwent a total knee replacement surgery in December 2010. The surgery was performed at a hospital in Texas.

The woman alleges that negligence occurred in relation to this surgery. According to the woman, the surgery was not performed properly, the knee replacement was not aligned properly and she sustained fractures during the surgery.

The woman claims that this alleged negligence caused her a variety of harms and that she may ultimately have to get an amputation as a result of it.

A lawsuit has been brought by the woman in a court in Texas in connection to the above allegations. The above-mentioned hospital and a doctor have been named as defendants in this lawsuit. Reportedly, damages are being sought in this lawsuit.

As the allegations in this case illustrate, surgical negligence can cause a great deal of harm to patients. Thus, one hopes that all medical professionals and hospitals make sure to not commit negligence like that alleged in this case. One also hopes medical professionals and hospitals are held accountable when they engage in harmful surgical negligence.
