Lawsuit alleges man received negligent care

A patient can suffer great harm when a medical professional and/or hospital provides him or her with negligent care. Thus, it is very important for medical professionals and hospitals to act properly when providing a patient with care.

Recently, a case involving allegations of the above-mentioned type of medical negligence has arisen in Missouri. The case involves a man who reportedly received care at a hospital in St. Louis, Missouri in January of 2010.

The man alleges that he received negligent care during his time at the hospital. The man claims that this alleged negligent care caused him to suffer a variety of harms including a heart attack, permanent injuries and pain.

The man, the man's wife and the man's daughter have brought a lawsuit in a court in Missouri in connection to these allegations. Reportedly, this lawsuit names two doctors, a nurse, a nursing supervisor and the above-mentioned hospital as defendants. Reportedly, in this lawsuit, the man, the man's wife and the man's daughter are asking for damages. One wonders what will happen in this medical malpractice case and how it will ultimately be resolved.

As the allegations in this medical malpractice case illustrate, a patient can suffer great harm when a hospital or medical professional acts negligently in connection to his or her care. Thus, one hopes that medical professionals and hospitals make sure to act properly when they are providing care to patients. No patient should have to suffer harm because a hospital or medical professional provided him or her with negligent care.
