Man claims doctors' negligence during biopsy caused wife's death

It is extremely important for medical professionals to exercise appropriate care when performing a surgery or medical procedure on a patient. This is because negligent mistakes made during surgeries or medical procedures can result in patients suffering great harm. These types of mistakes can even cause a patient's death. No patient should have to face these kinds of severe consequences because of doctor negligence.

Recently, a wrongful death case has arisen involving medical negligence. The case involves a woman who underwent a kidney biopsy at a West Virginia hospital in May of 2009. The biopsy was reportedly aimed at confirming a particular diagnosis. The procedure was allegedly performed by two doctors.

The woman's husband claims that the two doctors were negligent in their performance of this procedure. Allegedly, during the procedure, the biopsy needle was pushed too far into the woman's kidneys. This reportedly caused the woman to suffer an intestinal perforation. She died later that month. The husband claims that the woman's death was caused by the doctors' negligence during the biopsy.

The husband has recently brought a lawsuit in West Virginia against the doctors in connection to these allegations. It will be interesting to see how this case is resolved.

The allegations in this case demonstrate how negligent mistakes made during medical procedures can have serious repercussions. Such mistakes can cause great harm and suffering to patients and their families. Thus, one hopes that all medical professionals take care to avoid negligent conduct like that alleged in this case.
